"The biggest thing I play for is respect."
Brian "LB" Fow plays with the Los Angeles Infamous even though he lives in Chicago. While the 5-hour plane commute isn't ideal, it's worth it to play with his team and live in the town he loves. LB works for Kee Action Sports as an account manager where he spends his time helping expand Kee's market share in the paintball world. He claims that he likes his role as an industry insider and also a player of the game.
The Los Angeles Infamous start the show taking on their California rivals San Diego Dynasty. Off the break Dynasty loses one player but they still manage to advance up the snake. After both teams lose a player, the teams take a minute to just shoot until another Infamous player is eliminated, tying up the game 5-5. Just a few seconds later, another player from each team is eliminated, leaving the 4 players to a side left, though Dynasty does hold a slight position advantage. After losing another player, Infamous makes a run and eliminates one Dynasty player before being shot, leaving Dynasty a 3-2 lead. After Infamous loses another player from a distance, Dynasty takes their 3-1 advantage home and wins 3-0.
After a tough loss, the Infamous take on the Portland Naughty Dogs. The Naughty Dogs take the snake on the break and eliminate two Infamous players. After another quick loss, they trail by 3 players. The Naughty Dogs try to make a move and lose a player, but quickly Infamous loses their fourth player. With a huge advantage in players and position, the Naughty Dogs are able to clean up and win with 6 players left.
After a couple of tough matches, the Infamous have one more chance to win against the Edmonton Impact. After the break the score is 6-5 for Infamous. After some jockeying for position, Impact loses a back player and then their snake player. Infamous, now leading 6-3, is able to take its time, keeping the Impact players pinned. After about of minute exchanging fire, Infamous loses two players and Impact loses one, reducing the Infamous lead to 4-2. Rather than trying to wait out the game for a draw, both remaining Impact players try to advance and are eliminated, leaving Infamous with the victory.
Next week will feature JC Whittington.
