"It's my passion, it's what I love."
Episode 5 introduces us to Travis Lemanski of the Los Angeles Infamous. While he is known in the paintball community for his talent on the field, his driving force in the industry comes from his day job: Director of Product Development for Kee Action Sports. With paintball consuming all his time, it only makes sense that he married the Vice President of the NPPL. So, what does Lemanski do to get away from paintball? According to Camille (his wife) he spends his time playing Xbox Live.
The first match of the day pits Travis Lemanski's Infamous against Pasadena Bad Company. No players were hit off the break and almost a minute passes before Bad Company finally loses a player. For the next few minutes Infamous focus on the snake side of the field and are winning the field position battle despite losing one player. The crucial play is a one for one called on Infamous and Bad Company now leads 6-4. After a few minutes trying to hold off the inevitable, Bad Company makes a few rushes and despite getting called for a one for one of their own they're able to win with two players remaining.
The second match introduces two new teams to Beyond the Paint: Jersey Authority and Miami Rage. Off the break both teams lose a player and then Authority advances hard and control the field despite losing a second player. For the next few minutes both teams are pinned until Rage makes a run down the snake and gets two players before he's out. With the rage leading 5-3 and Authority's front men out, Rage pick off the remaining players and win with four players left.
The final match has the Infamous take on the Portland Naughty Dogs. The Naughty Dogs lose one player on the break but they do manage to take position further up the field. Despite their better position Infamous simply takes its time and picks off three Naughty Dogs players while only losing one of their own. With the 6-3 advantage, Infamous take a few rushes and win 4-0.
