Continuing with the series concept of following the lives of the players this week's episode shows the players as they relax and enjoy the nightlife. Another somewhat amusing segment showed Alex Fraige as he gets a manicure and pedicure, confirming his reputation as a paintball oddball.
The quarterfinals are over and this week it's on to the semifinals with the LA Infamous and the Stockholm Joy Division kicking things off. In the semifinals two sets of teams will face off in a best of three format with the winners advancing to the finals. Infamous loses one player on the break and then after aggressively advancing up the field they lose another. Shortly thereafter, there's a one for one on Infamous while another player is hit, giving Joy Division a 7-2 lead. With a huge lead in players Joy Division is able to finish off Infamous but the do lose one in the process, leaving them with a 6-0 victory.
Game two features the Pittsburgh All-Americans as they take on San Diego Dynasty. Both teams lose a player off the break and Dynasty loses a second right after. Pittsburgh is the next to drop a player and then a Pittsburgh run is a trade-off, leaving the teams tied at 4. A cross field shot by Ryan Greenspan drops an All American and then he's able to clean out the snake and run through and end the game.
The final game is the rematch of Stockholm and Los Angeles. The game starts with some pretty short breakouts but Joy Division still loses two and Infamous one. Infamous is able to control the snake but the lose one of their rear players, tying the game at 5. After a solid minute of firing and wrestling for position, Infamous wins the doritos and eliminates two more Joy Division players. Infamous loses their third player but they are able to empty clear the car wash and lead 4-1. All that's left is a quick run and Infamous ties the series at one game apiece.
Next week will finish up the semifinals and we'll see who makes it to the finals.
