Paintball is definitely an American-born sport and the annual D-Day game in Oklahoma is the big game all other big games aspire to become. Sometimes though, with all our reenactments and themed scenario events based on WWII we seem to forget on which side of the Atlantic the war with Germany was actually fought. It seems appropriate, then, that Scottish Adventure Centre hosted a recent D-Day event and I've spent some time enjoying Team PUPS's coverage and videos of the event. The terrain is reminiscent of actual pictures of the Normandy beaches complete with barbed wire, bunkers and lots of smoke and it looked like it was a very well-executed event. Plus, the Scottish accents made me laugh.

It allways makes me smile when I hear about paintball…but when I hear about it going on over seas, its just another reminder letting me now that the sport hasnt , or isn’t, dieing.
Reenactments are allways a good way to boost popularity, renound and knolage of the sport of paintball. Look at the NRA and all the reenactments they have from WW1, WW2, Civil war; all which allows them to move more product and provide entertainment for the masses!
