So there's not an accredited college that I'm aware of that offers a degree in paintball, but Ohio University Southern has begun offering a class in paintball. Most schools offer physical education classes in topics such as volleyball and bowling, so it's high time that paintball is included. While it's too late for me, I can only imagine how much fun it would have been to get college credit for playing paintball. Hopefully other schools take notice and do the same thing.

That has to be just about the greatest thing I have ever read. I hope they offer it soon to other College’s and Universities here on the East Coast.
good products to get in the game and in the battlefeild
But how much would you have to pay to do this? Sounds good accept if it is very expensive.
That rocks!
When I was in college I had little interest in the athletics aspect of school. I was there to learn.
But because I needed the credits, I took a course on soccer (didn’t even play, just studied it) and a class where my grade was contingent on the number of times I hit the gym.
I think it’s great that a school is offering paintball. I find that I get a much better workout from an hour of paintball than I do from an hour in the gym. Plus, you get to learn a sport/skill you can take with you the rest of your life and hopefully use.
It’s a great way to get more people into the sport and I would love to see some manufacturers sponsoring schools who have paintball in their programs. I mean really, comp these guys a few thousand dollars worth of gear and it’ll spawn a whole new generation of paintball players (i.e. consumers.)
So if I were going back to school and it was dead even between which two schools I would go to, I’d take the school with paintball.
I wold have to agree with what joe said. Comp them some gear and now a new generation of players…that would be a boost for the sport…could you imagine this in the highschool level!!!
