Paintball in the Snow and Cold

Wednesday October 29, 2008
Now that temperatures are dropping, it's time to start thinking about putting your gear away for the winter or else consigning yourself to playing in the cold.

Paintball in the cold can be fun, though it often involves a lot of frustration with malfunctioning equipment, paintballs breaking in barrels and inconsistent firing. If you are able to get beyond these difficulties, though, cold weather paintball can be a lot of fun and definitely makes you change your playing style and experiment with new strategies.

If you're really excited to try something new, you need to play paintball in the snow. Not only is it the only time you can dress in white for paintball in the woods, but the combined effects of slippery surfaces and the difficulty in running at fast speeds makes the whole game completely different. It's not a method of paintball that I would like to play everyday, but the occasional game in the snow can be a lot of fun and very memorable.

Are there any paintball guns that are better for cold weather play than others?

to play in the cold you have to stay away from coČ and use air for a starter,
next try ti pick a gunthat is soft on the paint like the A1 flyfor example.
