Just Be Safe

Wednesday October 22, 2008
I know you've played paintball a thousand times. You've probably even taught countless people how to play. Still, I see experienced players do stupid things with paintball equipment. Paintball is a very safe sport, with the large caveat that all safety rules are followed. Whether you're a newby or a pro, take a minute and read through the general safety rules and remind yourself what you need to do.

Everybody you play with will thank you.

(1) Officer R L Conrad Retired says:

Don’t forget where safety is concerned check the mfg. date on all your tanks. There is a code on every tank. Fiber wrapped aluminum or steel. Each tank has a use life, many are 3 years, others five. Then they “must” be hydro tested for continued safe use. 20oz. aluminum tanks and others used for CO2 are relatively inexpensive to replace rather than hydro tested. Other Hp ie: 3000 or 4500psi tanks must be tested and recertified. Safety demands our attention to this detail.

Don’t “squeeze” out a “little more time” from your tanks. Please be “safe not sorry”!

Thanks,
Richard Conrad Sheriff’s Officer Retired
