Autumn Paintball

Wednesday October 8, 2008
Fall is my favorite season. Not only is it the start of football but it also represents a wonderful part of the year to spend some time outdoors. Whether its hunting, fishing, hiking, camping or even paintball.

While spring and summer are great to be outdoors and the trees provide lots of green cover, fall, I think, is the perfect time to play paintball in the woods. On a fall morning the weather is a little nippy but by the time you get your gear together it's warm enough to play. After a few hours it still hasn't become unbearably hot and it feels like you could play all day. Whether or not you play until dark or just put in a morning, you get to appreciate the changing colors, the changing landscape and the local wildlife.

On some Autumn mornings, the game of paintball can almost fall second place to the nature around me.

Almost.
