Saying Goodbye To Gravity
Sunday June 15, 2008
Gravity drives me crazy - not only is it slow, but it's unreliable and awkward. I'm referring, of course, to gravity-fed hoppers - the basic tub that sits on a paintball gun and feeds paintballs into the chamber. Ever since I began using an agitated hopper, these basic loaders just don't cut it anymore. When I started playing with a force-fed hoppers, I noticed an improvement, but it's not like the difference between a gravity-fed hopper and an agitated hopper. In fact, there are many times when I switch my force fed hopper for a basic agitated hopper, but, unless I'm playing with a pump, I just can't bring myself to ever trade all the way down to a gravity-fed hopper. I guess I've just said goodbye to gravity forever.

Yea I know what you mean. I think the biggest problem with most guns is players shoot too fast for too long. I have a Tippman 98 custom with a response trigger. If I shoot more paint than whats in the feed neck, it turns into an expensive spray painter. I, how ever, have something called the Q-Loader on the way. They are very ingenuous from the looks and I have high hopes for the system. Check them out at www.qloader.com
Well welcome to 2008!!! Where exacly have you been in the world of paintball that you are finaly comming around to motorized loaders?! I play pump as well, but its a far cry from..”Ive had it with these slow and cumbersom GRAVITY fed loaders?!” If you havent noticed there are AT LEAST 4 very popular motorized loaders out there with the HALO being one of the longest in use. Jeez, how bout some current events!
