Time For Spring
Monday March 31, 2008
I'll admit it, I'm picky about playing paintball. I have two requirements: I won't play while it's raining or snowing and I want it to be at least 45 degrees outside when I play. For the past month, every weekend has failed in one (or usually both) of these requirements. Actually, my standards have dropped to the point that I'll play as long is it is above freezing in the shade and I've still been out of luck.
Playing during the week hasn't been an option recently and there have been some beautiful 60 degree days, but each and every weekend has been cold and wet. I'm sick of shooting guns in my basement - it's time for winter to be over.

You call yourself a baller and you won’t play in the rain or cold.
I would have to say back in the late 80’s we played on a 32 degree morning in San Antonio, TX and that will be the last time! The paintballs were like rocks. Back then we didn’t know to chronograph the guns so who knows what the FPS on them were. I just know I got hit and I didn’t care if it had broken or not I was headed for the warm car!

Serouslly I play whenever whenever, nothing pisses me off more then when someone backs out of a game because its “TOO Cold” or some other crap, nothing can keep me from playing aside from, 1. My wife having a child, 2. I am dying, 3. Someone in my family is dying. and thats it have some dedication for the greatest sport in the world.
