Don't Let Old O-Rings Get You Down

O-Rings O-rings are simple little bands of material that help seal where two pieces of metal meet. What many paintball players don't know is that just because an o-ring hasn't broken in half does not mean it's still ready to perform. Small cracks, minute missing pieces or simply an old and brittle o-ring can mean the difference between a day on the field and a day trying to figure out your paintball gun.

O-rings are simple to replace, they are inexpensive, and they are one of the most common problems that paintball guns have. I have fixed many, many guns that all they really needed was a new o-ring (or two or three), some cleaning and some oil. Whether it's leaking down the barrel, failure to recock or leaking when you screw in your tank, a bad o-ring just might be the problem. Take a minute to look at your o-rings and get your gun ready to play.
