A Better Paintball Barrel

Tuesday February 19, 2008
Barrel Kit Paintball barrels seem so simple - metal tubes with threading on one end that screws onto a paintball gun - yet paintball players are constantly arguing about what's better than what. A simple look at varieties and prices of barrels can really leave the new player confused. What could possible make one barrel truly better than another?

In actuality, paintball barrels are simple - just metal tubes with threading - but the little details make the barrel. It may not seem like much, but a difference in 1/500th of an inch in the diameter of a barrel can make the difference between a good and a great barrel. Rather than reading the advertising garbage that manufacturers spew, learn what a paintball barrel is really all about. Once you know what you're looking for, you can figure out what's right for you.
