Nobody Likes Dimples

Tuesday January 29, 2008
Good Ball/Dimpled Ball Looking at a three year-old with dimples is sure to bring a smile to the hardest cynic's face, but seeing a bag full of dimpled paintballs makes the happiest jokster want to scream.
Paintballs are the necessary little (expensive) evil that makes the sport of paintball what it is, but getting good ones to play with isn't as simple as it seems. There are dozens of brands of paint available and some comes perfectly round and some comes with a perfect dimple on every ball. There's no real rhyme or reason to find the best ball for you in terms of cost and performance, but while you're looking, be sure to figure out what you're looking for.

If you want over priced, egg shaped, dimpled, flat spotted paint with a massive seem and horrible fill, buy Reactor. Worst paint ever.

I concur –

Reactor is a joke at the paintball community’s expense.
