Smart Parts Releases Two New Paintball Guns

Wednesday October 24, 2007
Smart Parts is releasing two new mid-grade paintball guns onto the market. The Vibe, the little brother of the Ion, is an electronic paintball gun that operates at 180 psi and shoots up to 11 bps. It comes with a clamping feed neck and weighs only 1 pound 11 ounces. It comes with a special regulator that allows for CO2 to finally be used with an electro-pneumatic gun. This low-priced gun will retail for around $140.

Also available will be the SP-1 which is the tactical version of the Vibe. What the SP-8 is to the Ion, the SP-1 is to the Vibe and comes with military rails that will accept whatever accessories (such as flashlights, sights or cosmetic upgrades) you want. The SP-1 weighs 2 pounds 6 ounces and will cost about $150.

While neither the Vibe nor the SP-1 is currently available, you can preorder from many online stores.
